Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how ChromaXP collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use our website, including when we show advertisements or use analytics. By using the site, you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
1. Who operates this site
ChromaXP is published and operated by HAPPYMYNDS. For privacy, legal, and general inquiries, email happy.mynds@gmail.com or use our Contact page.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, the following categories may apply:
- Information you provide voluntarily. For example, if you email us, we receive your address, message content, and any attachments you send.
- Automatically collected technical data. Such as IP address, general location derived from IP, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is typical server and security logging.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files or storage on your device used for preferences, analytics, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, and site functionality.
-
Local storage on your device. We may store non-sensitive preferences (for example, light or
dark theme) using browser
localStorage.
3. Google Analytics
The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate traffic and usage (for example, pages viewed, approximate geography, browser type, and referral source). GA4 uses cookies and similar technologies and may assign pseudonymous identifiers. Google processes this data under its own policies. Learn more in How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps and the Google Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of GA measurement using Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on and your browser’s cookie controls.
4. Advertising (including Google AdSense)
ChromaXP may monetise the site through display advertising, including programmes such as Google AdSense. Ad partners may use cookies, mobile advertising IDs, or similar technologies to:
- serve and measure ads;
- limit how many times you see an ad;
- personalise ads based on your interests or profile (where permitted);
- detect invalid traffic.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to ChromaXP and/or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our Site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can learn more in the Google Advertising Policies and Google Privacy Policy.
Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (also available at adssettings.google.com).
Where required by law or Google programme rules (including the EU User Consent Policy), we obtain appropriate consent before loading non-essential cookies for analytics or personalised advertising—for example, in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
5. Your choices: managing ads and cookies
You have several options to limit personalised advertising and some analytics:
- Google Ads Settings — control certain Google ad personalisation when you are signed in and learn about opt-outs.
- Digital Advertising Alliance (US) — opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies.
- European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance — choices for European users.
- Browser settings — block or delete cookies; use private browsing; or install recognised tracker-blocking extensions.
Note: blocking or deleting cookies may affect site features (for example, remembering your theme preference).
6. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal data where permitted under the GDPR or UK GDPR, typically on the basis of: (a) your consent, where required; (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the site, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and/or (c) compliance with legal obligations.
7. California residents (CCPA / CPRA summary)
If California law applies, you may have rights to know, access, delete, or correct certain personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. ChromaXP does not knowingly sell personal information for money. Some uses of advertising cookies may constitute “sharing” under California law; use the industry opt-out links above and our consent tools (if any) to exercise choices. You may designate an authorised agent where permitted by law.
8. Children’s privacy
ChromaXP is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International visitors
We may process and store information in countries other than your own, including where our hosting or service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described, including legal, accounting, or security requirements. Server logs and analytics data are typically retained for a limited period. Emails you send us may be kept until the matter is resolved or as required by law.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Third-party sites
Our pages may link to third-party websites, including advertisers and brand guidelines. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review them before providing personal data.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” at the top and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a banner on the site). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
14. Contact
For privacy-related questions or requests, email happy.mynds@gmail.com with the subject line Privacy, or use our Contact page.
